After opening remarks, a panel discussion was held with representatives of the Democratic and Republican National Committees about the strategies for persuading voters in the 2008 presidential election. Topics included "hybrid" ads used by the Republican Committee and McCain campaign and the technological infrastructure built by the Obama campaign. Panel members responded to audience members' questions.
